Based in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, Fred Tarquinio is JG’s Geotechnical & Structural Division Manager and a Professional Engineer licensed in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Florida, and the District of Columbia.
Fred earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989. He began his career working as a geotechnical engineer for a local consulting company. Like other members of the Senior Management Team, Fred also has extensive experience working for a large national contractor–cementing JG’s reputation as a small company with large contractor capabilities.
With over 35 years of experience in the field, Fred was drawn to John and Jim’s traditional values and work ethic. He joined JG in 2014 to manage the growing Geotechnical & Structural Divison, where he is responsible for everything from business development to estimating, engineering, and construction.
Fred has decades of experience in the design and construction of deep foundations, earth retention, slope stabilization, and ground improvement solutions. He also has 20+ years of project management experience and personally oversees each geotechnical project from beginning to end.
